Integrative Medicine
Sometimes your health issues are straight forward and easily managed through acupuncture, herbal medicine, and lifestyle adjustment. Other times the issue at hand is complex, layered, and compounded by many factors. We offer an integrative approach that combines East-Asian medicine with functional medicine to address these complex health disharmonies. Lab testing provides valuable insight into your body's inner workings, complementing East-Asian diagnostics for a more comprehensive understanding of your pattern of disharmony. Our training in integrative and functional medicine allows us to interpret lab results through an East-Asian perspective and integrate them into personalized care plans. These care plans may include acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutritional therapy, habit change, and minimal yet effective supplementation to support your individual needs.

Conventional lab tests, conducted through LabCorp, are interpreted through an East-Asian medical lens. Specialty tests such as stool tests, urine tests, bloodspots, and/or serum tests may help find answers to health issues that aren't responding to treatment.
Limited therapeutic supplementation may aid in quicker recovery. While food is preferable over supplements, there are certain nutrients that are easily depleted by chronic stressors on the body (such as chronic illness, stress, and environmental stressors) and should be supplemented during times of aggravated symptoms.
Evidence-based nutritional therapy can help to identify whether food is a root cause of your symptoms, balance glycemic response, and reset the stress response, neurotransmitter cross-talk, and chemical signaling.
